Your Tech Upgrade

Money is very tight for us all. How we spend our money is of critical importance. Yes i say critical because every dollar pound or rand spent we feel in our pocket. So now you need to make that important decision of whether to upgrade your software or not. Or whether to upgrade that pc, or phone.

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

When To Buy

The important thing to note in the world of technology is that you can will get that product much cheaper 6 months from now. Better yet, in 6 months you will get more features and power for the same price.

Download your music

Unless you love the old things, be done with them. Your iphone's and android device can carry a lot more music and you can store them securely over a cloud system. This way, you will never lose them....... ever. Plus downloading music / buying music online is much much cheaper. The savings on not manufacturing a product are passed on to you.

If you dont own the ipad or iphone then the best place to buy music online is AmazonMP3. AmazonMP3 offers songs for as little as 89 cents, free of digital rights management software, so you can copy them onto any device—including CDs, if you miss them. Apple has the itunes store which pretty much does the same thing. Plus all the music you have ever purchased can be downloaded if you computer is wiped out for example or stolen. All you need is your email address and password to sign into your account and boom........ its all there.

What Is The Difference Between Plasma and LCD?

Short for liquid crystal display, a type of display used in digital watches and many portable computers. LCD displays utilize two sheets of polarizing material with a liquid crystal solution between them.

Plasma TV's create a picture from a gas (plasma) filled with xenon and neon atoms and millions of electrically charged atoms and electrons, that collide when you turn the power on.

LCD is your best option for screens under 42 inches, but for screens over 50, go for plasma. Between 42 and 50, it's a toss-up; you may want to let your living room make the decision for you. "Plasma has a wider viewing angle, meaning it's good for rooms with seating in corners," says Reynolds. "LCDs do a little better in rooms with lots of lights and windows."
